My Story

Imagine you’re sitting around a campfire thousands of years ago telling stories to your clan. This happens every night and people are the most eager to listen to the best storytellers. Why is this so? It’s because stories are the way humans communicate, and this distinguishes us from animals. We are exposed to roughly 6,500 images per day according to google. How will you make your ad, flyer, brochure, business card, or even t-shirt stand out from the crowd? How do you make your logo memorable? Your logo, and your brand, should tell your story. Literally and figuratively. I have learned to tell my story. It goes like this:

I am from Albuquerque, NM and I am a designer as well as a musician. I grew up in a loving family and had everything I needed. I attended a private academy for middle school and high school, and for college, I first attended the Berklee College of Music, where I studied Drumset Performance, and Music Business. I also, later, attended Oakland Community College, in Michigan, where I obtained an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design. I now am married, celebrating our 5 year anniversary this past August of 2021. I recently joined the Chamber of Commerce in my local town of Waterford, MI, where I attend events and networking groups on a regular basis.

Fun Fact: I used to do gymnastics competitively and I won first in the state overall competition (twice), and finished 9th in the region, which includes New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming.

To sum it up, I try to live in a constant state of inspiration and enthusiasm. I am deeply spiritual, something which has guided me to where I am today.

How do you maintain your state of enthusiasm? You make connections with other human beings. Somebody once told me that all opportunities come only through other people. Do not do this by yourself. Get advice, interview experts in their field. Talk to people, be honest, but take full responsibility for what you say and do. What you think is directly affecting your every action, so weigh your thoughts wisely. These are the kind of things that life has taught me over there years. I want to spread the peace and compassion, and help others to realize their dreams through music and design!
